Ongoing support
The Governor and Wyoming Legislature had to act fast, making decisions to support businesses and communities across the state—while keeping our citizens safe. The Wyoming Business Council, in partnership with many governing bodies across the state, has worked to maximize resources to help businesses and non-profits survive these challenging times. Here are a few programs that were put in place to help during the COVID-19 pandemic:
Business Relief Program
This was developed to distribute federal CARES Act funding to Wyoming that experienced hardship related to the COVID-19 crisis. Over $381 million has been distributed to Wyoming businesses and nonprofits so far.
Shop Smart, Shop Safe
A statewide campaign in collaboration with Wyoming Main Street, Wyoming State Chamber of Commerce, and Wyoming Economic Development Association that helps businesses to promote local shopping with new safety standards in mind..
COVID-19 Response Tips

We're not done yet...
While the immediate demands are in response to the COVID pandemic—continued economic development for Wyoming's businesses is our ongoing mission. We look forward to developing new and innovative ways to provide resources for local businesses.
